For Beginners & Experienced Installers
Day 1: 8AM - 4PM
Morning:
Introduction: Vinyl types (cast, calendared), finishes (gloss, matte, satin), properties, applications.
Surface Prep: Washing, decontamination, paint correction considerations.
Cutting & Trimming Basics: Knifeless tape, plotter use (beginner), advanced techniques (experienced).
Afternoon:
Application Techniques: Dry vs. wet install, heat shrinking, post-heating.
Simple Panel Wraps: Hood, roof (beginner), complex curves (experienced).
Color Change Applications: Door jambs, returns (experienced).
Day 2: 8AM - 4PM
Morning:
Vehicle Teardown: Trim removal, part disassembly (experienced).
Complex Panel Wraps: Bumpers, mirrors, spoilers.
Seam Management: Overlaps, inlays (experienced).
Afternoon:
Advanced Heat Forming: Deep curves, complex shapes.
Edge Sealing & Finishing: Tuck-in methods, edge sealer application.
Troubleshooting: Wrinkles, bubbles, lifting, contamination.
Day 3: 8AM - 4PM
Morning:
Hands-on Project: Full vehicle section wrap (beginner), advanced project (experienced).
Specialty Vinyls: Textured, chrome, color-shift (experienced).
Design & Layout: Software basics, print production (experienced).
Afternoon:
Business Considerations: Pricing, marketing, client management.
Tools & Equipment: Selection, maintenance, best practices.
